Composite Course
Future of Work – Project Based Learning Expedition (Includes Mini Module: Demystifying Mathematics)
Learning expeditions are a way or organizing curriculum to develop skills and content areas knowledge in the core curriculum. They are not a separate subject, program, class, or activity rather they are in-depth and interdisciplinary in nature and require students to engage in sophisticated research, engage with the community in authentic ways, and demonstrate their knowledge with high quality products that are presented to legitimate audiences.
Students will create a time capsule chronicling their experience of the COVID19 pandemic through this expedition. In this programme, we will be using this unique opportunity as a compelling topic to organize our areas of study. Students will be keenly aware that they are capturing and recording evidence and communicating our understanding of what has and is happening. Their work and documentation will be collected in a virtual “Time capsule” to create a record of this pandemic for years to come.
